The Firm has been at heart of the mergers and acquisitions trend since its inception in Vietnam 15 -20 years ago. In the M&A sector, we have:
- acted on the first merger between Vietnamese subsidiaries of the two global petroleum corporations;
- assisted multi-national clients in initial and subsequent acquisitions in the fields of consumer goods, food and beverage, and real estate in Vietnam;
- represented a large Vietnamese bank in the first local acquisition of a foreign invested finance enterprise.
The M&A practice of the Firm includes private and public mergers and acquisitions, as well as foreign investor acquisitions of local corporation shares. As local counsel to many multi-national companies with offices in Vietnam or with Vietnam affiliates, the Firm provides skilled due diligence investigations and other standard pre- and post-M&A services.
